About the Project
Larkspur Energy Storage (Larkspur) is ideally located near Rankin, Texas in Upton County on approximately 18 acres, where it interconnects to critical transmission infrastructure at Lower Colorado River Authority’s (LCRA) Benedum Substation. This facility will provide much-needed energy storage capacity and services to the ERCOT electrical system in the Upton County area, enhancing grid reliability and accelerating the integration of locally produced renewable energy.
